SOLARO

Design: Mauro Lipparini, 2021

_original design, extraordinary craftsmanship

Its long, needlelike legs orchestrate and give rhythm to Solaro’s entire graphic expression, based in rectilinear compositions of precise modularity. Its slender architecture, amplified by light filigree, punctuates and enhances the void it frames and interlaces, which one can fill according to their individual desires. You can feel the echo of soul-stirring Gothic architecture resound in the ribs of the pillars—composed of metal rods fastened together—that rise smoothly, discharging the system’s weight to the floor. As always securable via lateral rods to the wall, this latest version offers the option of fixture to the ceiling via capitals, so that Solaro can stand free in open space if so desired. It is now suitable for those who envision it playing a pivotal, unconstrained role in the heart of the room.

SOLARO

_dynamic and different

The vertical pillars are connected by the horizontal shelves, configured in linear, longitudinal continuity or in segments at different heights. The shelves are enriched by details such as bullnose sections and off-angles in the corners. The bookcase is completed by containers, covers, and drawers, which can be positioned in countless configurations. The weightlessness vividly expressed by Solaro works in concert with its generous exhibition space and integral strength, encouraging the user to take full, pleasurable advantage of the endless possibilities it offers.
